The use of various types of media such as networks and other advanced programs has really influenced this shift. The use of media in developing countries is changing the way of communication, conducting business, social lives and even the way of thinking. It has been noticed that the younger generation is more likely to be affected by the media development compared to the older one. The modern college students are most affected, but the effect has a higher intensity when the youngsters are at the age of twelve. The best educational strategies can be formed with the help of changes. Creative thinking and readiness for innovations and changes will make people prepared for the future.

The difference between hyper attention and deep attention clearly demonstrates the shift. Hyper attention majors on changing environments and many objectives compete for attention. One can switch focus on different tasks, prefer external information, rarely tolerate boredom and seek a high level of motivation. Deep attention is related to humanities and is characterized by focusing on a single purpose for a period of time, majoring on a single source of information, being tolerant to the focuses which take a long time, and disregarding external motivation while concentrating. This is outstanding in solving complex issues, but there also exist flexibility of response and environmental alertness. However, the fact that it is not possible to focus on one thing for a long time makes the whole method disadvantaged. Relatively, this method is a luxury and it requires a team for a secure environment. The environments required by the deep attention method have been created by developed societies. Nowadays, most educational institutions have majored on them, combining resources for a successful completion of the assigned task. Using this method has become the norm for standard documentation of the institutions. Presentations of this method are great and they can stay perfect without the generational shift to hyper attention. Incompatibilities are arising between the educators expectations and the style of young nation. Synthesizing the two was performed through revision of the educational methods.

Intensive analysis of the students shows that there is a split between those who prefer deep attention and those who prefer hyper attention. For most students, a higher inclination refers to hyper attention. In the same way, the educators across the country have confirmed this by declaring that even their students have not got used to reading novels and to reading at all They would rather prepare short stories for their assignments. The main objective of the matter is to include the role of media in the daily environment of the young generation. Approximately six and half hours per day are spent by young people on media (Hayley, 2012). Moreover, they often use it on weekdays when they are supposed to be studying. Youth usually spend their free time on more than one type of media. It should be also mentioned that average time generally spend on media is from eight and half hours. The most popular types of entertainment are movies from DVD and TV, listening to the radio, Mp3 & CDs. The Internet is also one of the first most popular types of media used by the young people. On the contrary, reading is taking up a small percentage of the daily activity of young people, and they do not like spending their leisure time on print materials. Moreover, one third of the students do their homework using media. Another part of students do it in an alternating manner, and some of them do it simultaneously and at times in an alternating manner. It should be mentioned that some students even take stimulating drugs in order to have multitasking minds. Actually, these drugs change their nervous system in a way that the usual stimulation is felt as monotony, and only high levels of stimulation can be interesting to them. Unfortunately, a lot of students end up suffering either from Attention Disorder (AD) or Hyperactivity Disorder (HD). Therefore, the generational shift from deep attention to hyper attention also brings such problems as AD and HD. The AD/HD disorder is constantly related with people who have it and it should not be necessary compatible with the shift (Hayley 2012). Hyper attention is increasing; moreover, it highly correlates with the rising stimulation desire and exposure to other stimulating media. The availability and influence of media is increasing and children usually use it without parents supervision or participation. The adult population is also affected by media but to a lesser degree

Hayley discusses advantages and disadvantages of generational shift. An urge to consequently taking drugs can either lead to AD or HD; it usually results in brain defects. Drugs are mostly taken by the young people and affect their brains; however, the plasticity of the brain extends even in adulthood (Hayley, 2012).

The most exciting information concerning this shift has really affected higher institutions. Moreover, the enhancement in technology is changing the teaching and learning models. Thus, this has the power to enhance the outcomes of education. As much as the generational shift enhances innovation, the shift to hyper attention needs high costs, full power of high performance, communication and computing. The need to have a generational shift in institutions necessitates special skills to be used during the educational process. Otherwise, this will pose barriers to effective utilization. Using of the current media methods, computers, access to the Internet, or access to any form of technology require skills at the same. It is considered very prestigious to have Internet enabled multimedia and computers. Purchasing of various educational facilities makes this shift faster; however, it needs much money. Thus, generational shift can be considered as an expensive process. Learning needs will be met, if there are trained teachers who are ready to use technology in their practice. Since the organization of different institutions is unique, each of them recognizes the strength of change that will help them organize and improve their teaching practices. The educators, who do not trust technology and do not believe in any form of technological shift, should be advised to swim with the current technology while enhancing educational and teaching practices. The society needs to be mobilized and have positive attitude towards generational change. As it is known, few communities are ready to adopt changes, and others are still using their old teaching practices claiming that the use of technology is not effective. In addition, many teachers feel that change in technology cannot really influence their teaching practice. Moreover, technology has also widened the gap between those who have access to it and those who do not. It is evident that the use of a computer is unavoidable in our time. Probably, the usage of technological instruments differs in various parts of the world depending on the circumstances of each particular society. Nowadays, it is difficult to predict what can be achieved by the future students, since educational practices of many countries are still old-fashioned. Living in the Dark Ages was limited and there was no ability to make advances or increase the effectiveness of the institutions existed.

Technology is a tool for learning processes that facilitates service learning management and access to the World Wide Web. Therefore, studies and education develop more efficiently, and access to the materials available on the Internet is easy. The use of other types of media such as radio has an entertainment mode; they have an educational program, which helps the young generation. Easy access to the CD and DVD movies makes youth fluent in the language used. Generally, the use of media as a way of generational shift has risen the level of learning to a great extent (Sarena & Tanis, 2003).

In conclusion, it is difficult to define whether hyper attention is better than deep attention. However, hyper attention of the modern society brings more benefits. It should be mentioned that the challenge comes while considering the fact that true multitasking is turning the brain into a massively parallel organ. Maintaining high standards of stimulation is required for individuals who are not completely into hyper attention and do not spend their whole time doing one thing until the highest level of proficiency is achieved. Educators are on the verge of making a decision whether to move to hyper attention or remain in deep attention. It is a common knowledge that students are moving deeper into hyper attention. With the tendency to hyper attention, the whole issue is becoming a concern to the universities and colleges. The major challenge facing higher institutions concerning this shift is that the participants are facing two appropriate configurations that can advance educational mission. However, others still want to enhance the capacity of deep attention and move towards traditional objectives.
