Also, Maintenance of the standard of education that is offered in a particular institution is dependent on the available technological advancements in the institution. These educational technology help the organization come up with very good programs that help the meet the current dynamic market demand.

This paper will examine how these educational institutions fund, maintain and upgrade their technological infrastructure. It will also seek to evaluate the probability of these schools coping with the current dynamic technologies in the education sector. It will also look at the problems facing the education institutions and examine the way such problems have affected the education system. The available options that can be explored to avert these problems in educations sector will be clearly analyzed. Finally the paper will give a conclusion on how the practice would be changed for sustainability purposes.

The future of educational success heavily relies on the ability of the organization to restructure its programs to meet the technological initiatives of the future world. Schools have been faced with the challenge of funding, maintaining and upgrading their current education technology programs so that they achieve their missions. The future initiative in the education technology is also a major challenge as these institutions cannot tell their ability to survive or cope with such technological changes.

The problem facing the education sector is the little finance available to run the institutions. This has made maintenance of the education institution a big problem since all the maintenance process need money. The current technology that is being used in our education institutions also need some upgrade. This is because they have become obsolete and with the kind of dynamic world we are in, we have to align the technologies used in schools with the current ones. Education institutions are faced with another major problem of planning for the future advancements in education technology. The institutions do not have the capacity to plan for any improvement in technology since they do not have the skilled personnel to help them in the logistic and planning process (Lang, 17).

The effect these problems have brought to the education system is lowering the quality of education that is offered to the learners at the institutions. The numbers of people dropping out of learning institutions has been on the rise because the institutions cannot maintain the number of students they enroll. Some education institutions have been closed down for inability to continue operating. Several creditors have lost their resources to education institutions that cannot repay their debts.

Several options are available for solving these problems facing the education system. However, most of them require commitment to help realize their implementation. The senior management of the education institutions needs to be trained to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge of running the institutions. Proper guidelines and education framework should also be put in place to ensure that the education sector is well taken care of. Laws should also be enacted to protect the educational institutions from any third party who attempts to initiate their down fall. Sustainability of education will enable all citizens get access to skill, knowledge, values and attitudes that are significant in sustaining the future generation. Sustainable education system therefore refers to the inclusion of all the aspects of sustainability into education management.

The issues of climate change, poverty, disaster eradication, sustainable consumption and biodiversity must be incorporated into the education curriculum. Participatory learning and caching methods are critical for the success of an education institution. This will enable them change their perceptions and actions and later actively participate in sustainable development. Other competency skills like critical thinking, imagining of the scenario in the future and collaborative decision making are alternatives that can be used to initiate changes in the education sector. Another option is to facilitate linkages in the networking sector and technological transfers. This will help create interaction among the stakeholders. The quality of teaching and learning is should also be improved. The education goals and standards should also be focused towards achieving development goals through championing for education reforms (Sims, 34).

Mobilizing for financial resources will be a solution to the shortage of funds. Outsourcing for skilled labor force will help the institutions create a competent labor force that can maintain the education technology. In the wake of upgrading the education technologies, the education institutions should use the most up to date methods of learning and be dynamic to change. For proper planning of the future technological initiatives, the education institutions will need to lay a strategic plan that will drive them to the successful path (McKeown, 42).

The current practices in the education system need a lot of changes

First the system of education needs to be revolutionized to ensure that it embraces all the citizens of the country concerned. The current education system does not provide for the elderly or adult education. The public also need to be educated through civic education to ensure that they get the general knowledge on how to actively participate in the development of the nation. Technology is a key factor in education administration. It helps the organization get a lot of resources while at the same time sharing what they have with other institutions (McKeown, 47). Technology helps facilitate fast flow of knowledge and service delivery in educational institutions. This will help the organization become more competitive and get the ability to sustain itself in the future. Changes need to be made in the service learning so that more focus is given to critical thinking, literacy, skills and standards. System thinking also need to be integrated into the system as it helps increase the visibility of education (Sims, 48). People should be involved in making decision concerning education and be encouraged to get involved in the implementation of this education. Customized education system must also be made available for individual learners. In addition, envisioning through imagining of a very bright future is a change that needs to be initiated in the education system. Critical thinking will help the stakeholders in the education sector to analyze their beliefs and later embrace their opinion, knowledge and perceptions for sustainability. This will help bring on board other sustainability features like education, social cultural, environmental and political aspects (Lang, 63).

Systematic thinking should be encouraged to help the stakeholders acknowledge the complexities while at the same time looking for links and the necessary synergy that can solve the problems in education. Building strong partnerships will help the stakeholders in the education field promote negotiation and dialogue. This in turn will help them develop the aspect of team work. Empowering people to participate in making the critical decisions in the education sector is also a possible solution to the problems in education sector (Jones et al, 26).

In conclusion the sustainability of education depends on the effort that the institutions make towards solving the problems that affect such institutions. Once a solution is obtained, the educational institutions will be in a position to lay down strategies that will help it survive and benefit the future generation.
